Physical Therapy

Many people ask where to can they do there physical therapy.  Often it can be done locally near your house.  There are great therapists at Cedars-Sinai.  Below are the list of therapists that I have worked with or have had patients comment that they liked very much.  See if there is one close by your house.


Suzanne Thom - Santa Monica
Santa Monica
Suzanne Thom- She is a genius.  She is the therapist for the Los Angeles Ballet.  I send all patient on the west side of Los Angeles to Suzanne.
Physical Therapy Works - Santa Monica
Many of the therapists received their DPT education at USC (the #1 PT school in the country).  They work closely with dancers and athletes in returning to elite level competition and dance.
Rise AGain pt -  Santa monica
Melody Warner is a DPT and is the therapist to the American Contemporary Ballet.  She has an elite understanding of the biomechanics of dance, as well as an encyclopedic knowledge of sports biomechanics.
Evergreen PT - Pasadena

Pasadena
Evergreen Physical Therapy - This group has many dancers who are now physical therapists.  A great group with a fantastic reputation.  But be prepared to work hard as these therapists can turn a pirouette on a dime.  

kaufmann PT - West hollywood
West Hollywood - Kaufmann PT does a lot of work with athletes.  Great reputation


Reischl PT - Long Beach/signal hill
Long Beach / Signal Hill
Steve Reischl is a genius.  A professor of physical therapy.  He teaches the therapists at USC.  An expert in the lower extremity.

Gary souza PT - Diamond Bar / Brea
Gary Souza - Diamond Bar / Brea  Gary has been working with elite level athletes since the early 80's getting them back to their sporting profession

Axis PT - Steve Grinsted  and his team have worked on many of my patients with good results.  Very well trained in all aspects of physical therapy, with a warm compassion as well.
SomA PT - Claremont
Andrea Cordova-Caddes is a doctor of PT and former dancer.  She works specifically works with dancers and gymnasts.   
rehab2fitness - beverly hills
Roger Yamanaka, PT - He specializes in working with golfers and is one of a limited number of Titleist Performance Institute Level 3 Medical/Fitness Professionals. Roger also works with dancers and contributed to the initial development of the Cedars Sinai/USC Dance Medicine Program.
Fusion Arts PT -Encino
Karen Moran, the founder of Fusion Arts Physical Therapy, is renowned in the entertainment world with a long and successful history of treating performing artists, from live theater to the movie and television industries.   She treats all aspects of dance medicine as well as sports medicine
